Welcome to The Vineyard! We are the Post Family and we are so excited to meet you and your family on one of the most important days of your life!

It's always great to know the faces behind the name! We are all Iowa natives, living in the Cedar Falls area until a few years ago, when Paul & Nancy (also now known as Nana & Papa) moved to Des Moines. Meanwhile, Hannah & Josh moved to Denver, Colorado where Hannah opened her first wedding business. After having sweet Sylvia, Hannah decided she couldn't stay away from family and started to think of ideas in the wedding industry in DSM.

Our reserach began and we realized DSM venue options were limited. So, we set out on a mission to find the perfect location...a vineyard. While we loved classic Iowa barn weddings, our vision was a little different. We longed to combine the elegance of downtown venues with the stunning outdoor scenery of southern Iowa. When the realtor called and said she had a property we might be interested in, our expectations were low. We had looked at countless warehouses, barns, Morton buildings, and fixer-uppers. However, as soon as we looked through the photos we knew that this could be the one! We saw photos of the vineyard, the rolling hills, and the new building and our minds started churning with how we could make this into the perfect spot!  With some elbow grease, paint, and new chandeliers (RIP ceiling fans) it would be stunning!

So the project began! In November 2022 renovations and bookings started! The space has completely transformed and our family can't wait to show it to you and yours!
